As a member of the Defined Benefit Actuarial Services Team, Peter’s duties include:
- All phases of actuarial OPEB valuation process and all phases of actuarial pension valuation process
- Preparation of census data requests
- Review and reconciliation of participant data
- Reconciliation of plan assets
- Setup of the actuarial valuation using Proval
- Review of valuation output and checking of sample results
- Drafting of actuarial valuation reports and associated funding calculations
- Drafting of IRS Form 5500 and PBGC Form 1
- Preparation of participant annual benefit projection statements
- Review of benefit calculations for participants who are terminating employment or retiring
